Terrific TurtlesYeah! It's Springtime and we can't wait to spend more time outside. Jack loves to go outside so much that he gets all of his friends coats and gives them to each child and then walks them to the door. We learned all about the weather in March. If you want to know the forecast just ask Colin. He will tell you about the rain, snow, wind, clouds and sun. We have our own personal meteorologist! In April we will be learning about wonderful wildlife. We will discuss reptile, amphibians, mammals, birds and household pets. I'm sure Marisa will be glad to tell us what sounds all of the animals make, her lion and kitty cat impressions are very realistic! Emil has become our class greeter, he hugs all his friends when they arrive. Sydney is the story teller, she reads to all her friends. We would like to wish everyone a joyous Passover and Happy Easter!

Wonderful WhalesThe toddlers hope that everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day. The month of March was crazy with the weather between the warm spring like weather and the cold wind and snow. The children learned alot about the weather. The whales are talking more and doing really well with reviewing the different activities. This month our themes are: "Reptiles and Amphibians", Marvelous Mammals", Beautiful Birds" and "Household Pets". The toddlers are looking forward to learning about the wonderful wildlife. We hope that everyone has a great Passover and Easter. For the health and safety of the children please remember to label everything that belongs to your child, to bring in bibs and utensils and leave your child's toys at home.

Fantastic FishDuring the month of March we learned all about the weather. We talked about the wind, rain, sun and different types of storms. We felt the wind blow on our faces and watched the rainfall from the sky. We looked out the window with sunglasses on to see the sun. We spun around like tornados and pretended to be rotating around the earth. Also, we enjoyed learning new Spanish words such as brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandpa, grandma, family and the color purple. We had a wonderful green treat party for St. Patrick's Day. In the month of April we will learn all about the wonderful wildlife around us. Our numbers are 13 and 14 and the shape is octagon. Our color for the month is brown. Happy birthday to Lia

Marvelous ManateeMarch was a wonderful month for Manatees. We have been working on our writing and it has been very successful. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on the 17th and our Lucky Leprechaun hats looked fabulous. We were all thankful to celebrate the first day of spring on the 20th. During April we will be learning all about the wonderful wildlife. We will also be celebrating Passover on the 6th and Easter on the 11th. We will be focussing on the numbers 71-80, the shape octagon and the color brown. We would also like to wish Maggie a happy birthday on the 1st.

Sparkling SeahorsesWelcome Spring! We were very happy to have a little bit of warmth in March and to be able to play outside! Now, we hope it's here to stay! Along with showers, April brings our wonderful wildlife theme! We will be learning about reptiles and amphibians, mammals, birds and best of all pets! Please send in pictures of your pets for that theme the last week in April! Our color of the month is brown and our shape will be octagon. We will be counting to 80. Please be sure to reinforce letters and number recognition at home, practice makes perfect. Happy birthday to Samantha on the 15th! Have a happy Easter and Passover.

StarfishWow, we jumped through March! We learned sight words, blends and word endings. We also explored greater and less than values as well as place value and counting by 2's, 5's and 10's. As we get closer to graduation, we will be reciting our graduation songs. In April, we will be covering time and clocks as well as starting simple addition. Small books will be sent home as well as the children's progress with their reading and sight words. We will be learning about sentences as well as writing them. The class will continue to practice our vowel sounds. This month we will be covering the letters M-P. Have a happy Easter and Passover.
