April Showers...Of Candles?

April is quite a busy month!! We are awaiting all the warm weather to enjoy many days on the playground!! We also are anticipating the Week Of the Young Child, which will be a fun-filled week for the children. Our Spring fundraiser will be Gold Canyon candles- they smell so yummy!! At the end of the month we all get dressed up for spring pictures! Our older children will even pose with cap and gown!

We are still waiting for the prizes to arrive from your child's participation in the Mini-march for Cystic Fibrosis, but would like to thank everyone again who helped us raise $1, 250 for the organization!

Darling Dolphins

Let's hope we have seen the last of the crazy snow storms & welcome spring. We would like to say best of luck to Carter & Gianna who are moving to the Turtles class. Welcome Alex & Abigail. Happy 1st birthday to Grace. In April we would be focusing on weather. Rain, Rain Go Away, Mr. Golden Sun, Storms & Such & A Windy Day. Our Darling Dolphins have been very busy; Grace is now taking steps. Jack is reaching for toys- we are practicing crawling. Lucas is pulling himself up on everything. Nicholas is rolling & laughing, rolling & laughing. Brendan enjoys giving hugs & kisses. Jared has fun using the shopping cart to get around. Hailey has now mastered climbing up on everyone's legs to stand. Alex is having fun in the exersaucer and Abigail is a happy baby full of smiles. Parents please remember to label all of your child's belongings with first and last name. One last thing we would like to have a family photo to place on our wall. We would like to have it there so we can show your child mom and dad. Please try to bring in a photo as soon as possible. Have a happy Passover.

Terrific Turtles

The Turtles are really excited about spring finally being here. In April we will be learning all about the weather and doing lots of fun things. March was fun for us as we learned about mammals, birds, Reptiles and pets. Isabelle, Ricky and Kayla proved they can "roar" like the loudest lions while James, Ashley, Colton and Olivia perfected their "moo's"!!! Stephen and Eddie became our best sounding sheep and our new friends Carter and Gianna thought our room was a pretty silly place to be. We even had a real hamster come to visit. Please remember to check for size and weather appropriate cloths and please label everything.

Wonderful Whales

The Toddlers had fun in the month of march. They got to watch their friends march for Cystic Fibrosis and learn about "The Wonderful Wildlife". The Whales enjoyed having a St. Patrick's Day party and egg hunt. March also was a busy month for transitioning. The Whales are doing great with their Spanish and sign language. We would like to welcome Bradley, Chloe & Zachary to our class. The toddlers also want to wish Kayla, Anthony and Scott good luck in the Get Set class. Our themes for April are "Rain, Rain Go Away", "Mr. Golden Sun", "Storms and Such" & "A Windy Day". We can't wait to learn about the weather. Have a Happy Passover. Fantastic Fish

We would like to wish all of our families a happy Spring! As the weather gets warmer, we are hoping to spend a lot more time outside. While we are outside, we plan to examine the flowers and trees and all the animals that come out once springtime arrives. This month we are also going to take a closer look at the different types of weather. We will learn about the rain, sun, storms and wind. There is lots of fun in store for April. Octagon is the shape for the month and brown is our color. Miss Jordyn and Miss Ruthie would like to wish Jack and Sydney a very happy birthday! On April 12th we will have show and tell, and on the 20th we will celebrate the color brown, so everyone wear something brown to school! Happy Passover!

Super Seals

The Super Seals would like to wish everyone and their families a happy spring! We can't wait for the warm air. We will be learning all about the weather this month. Rain, Sun, Storms, snow and wind will be our new topics. our letters will be S, R and K. We will have fun making a kite and a rainbow to celebrate the spring season. Brown is our new color, and the octagon will be our shape. A very happy birthday to Morgan, Julia F, Brielle and Noelle. Hooray they all turn four.

Marvelous Manatee

We are very excited that April has arrived! During the month of April we will be learning all about the weather. Our themes are "Rain, Rain Go Away", "Mr. Golden Sun", "Storms and Such", & "A Windy Day". We will be focusing on the numbers 36-40, the color brown and the shape octagon. We will also begin practicing to write our addresses as well as review our phone numbers. We would like to wish a happy birthday to Nicholas M and Conner C both on April 19th! They are the first to turn 5 in our class!

Sparkling Seahorses

The Seahorses are sooo happy that spring is here and to be outside in the fresh air again. We would like to thank our parents for helping us celebrate St. Patrick's Day, we had a great time! Our theme this month is "All About The Weather". We will be learning about rain, sun, storms and wind. We will focus on the letters S, V, and Y, the numbers 71-80, the octagon shape and the color brown. Just a reminder please label your child's lunch with first and last name and please bring in a change of season appropriate clothes for your child's cubby! Also, we would like to thank you for participating in the Book It! reading programs and in the March Cystic Fibrosis! Congratulations to Riley for winning 2nd place and a yummy munchkin party for our class! Great Job!!

Shining Starfish

March has come and gone and now April is here! We had a great time in March we marched for Cystic Fibrosis and had a St, Patrick's Day party. This month we will be learning "All About The Weather" with weekly themes of "Rain, Rain Go Away", "Mr. Golden Sun", "Storms and Such" and "A Windy Day". Our color for the month is brown and the shape is octagon. The children have been learning so much and have come a long way. Please remember to label all your child's items with first and last name and also include utensils when necessary. Please keep in mind the change in weather and to bring in climate appropriate extra clothes for your child. Have a happy Passover!
