August Already!
Can you believe that the summer is almost over! Just 1 more month until we start the new Fall school year! We wrap up our summer program with fun themes and exciting shows and visitors. We cannot wait until the Lizard Show comes as well as the Moon bounce machine! Please remember to check your summer fun calendar for the upcoming events and your classroom doors for special reminders.
Remember, we will be closed on August 29, 2003 for our In Service Day to get ready for September! That day will also be our annual Back to School Night from 6:30-7pm.
- Please remember: sprinkler day attire is bathing suit, wet shoes(closed toe)and a towel.

Darling Dolphins
The Dolphins are always growing so fast. Colin is taking steps. Nicole is saying "hi" and "bye" to everyone. She is also standing and taking steps. Kenzie loves wearing her princess crown and playing with her new friends. Candace is sitting up on her own and waving, and Mason is sitting at the table and rolling over. Please send in a towel so we can have fun with our water table. thank YOU TO Miss melanie FOR BEING OUR TEACHER, BEST OF LUCK AND WE WILL MISS YOU.

Wow! we're in our last month of camp already! This summer has been so much fun, and the excitement is not over. August is going to be filled with terrific adventures! We are going to take a journey through the jungle and then take a trip back in time to learn about dinosaurs. We will have so much fun at the circus and then blast up to outerspace. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Wonderful Whales
July was a busy month, we learned all about sports, The land of make Believe, Music, A cruise through the Caribbean and about the wild west. The toddlers are having so much fun with going in the sprinkler and watching the different shows. We hope that everyone had a Happy Fourth of July. The children have been talking up a storm this past month. We also celebrated some Birthdays. The whales would like to wish Summer and Samantha a happy 2nd birthday. This month we are looking forward to learning about the jungle, dinosaurs, the circus and outerspace. For the health and safety of your children can you please label all of their belongings such as cups, utensils, towels, clothes, bowls and hats if they have one.

Fantastic Fish
Summer fun has begun. Parents please check your summer camp schedules for sprinkler days as well as some of our other fun activities, our fishes are starting along with each other. We would like to wish Happy Birthday to Kyle and Zachary. Our themes for this month are Jungle Journey, Dinosaur Discovery, Under the Big top, outrageous outerspace. We are looking forward to a fun and safe summer.

August brings us a lot of fun themes! On our jungle journey week, we will make water canteens, During dinosaur discovery we will have a prehistoric treasure hunt. Under the big top will bring a visit from the Ice cream man and outrageous outerspace week will be out of this world. A few of our friends will be celebrating their birthday! Briana's birthday is the 3rd and Marc J's Birthday is the 26th!!Happy Birthday. We have enjoyed making new friends this summer. See everyone in September!

Marvelous Manatee
Oh my! Where does the time go? I can't believe it's already August- before you know it we will be talking about September and school starting. The marvelous Manatees have been keeping very busy this past month with sprinkler days, projects and trips. Make sure to check out our manatee class mural on the wall above the cubbies! August promises to fly by just as quickly. We head off to the circus, go to the zoo, into outerspace and lots of other fun things this month. We have lots more fun things to do so get ready ! Please remember to check the camp calendars for trips and sprinkler days. Always wear your yellow Goddard shirt on field trip days.

Sparkling Seahorses
Summer campers are all settled in and having lots of fun. They had a ball at the bowling alley and I must say they were so good even the league bowlers commended them! We have enjoyed all of our special trips and visitors! Thanks again to our chaperons for all their help! It is greatly appreciated. August brings barrels of fun as well. Happy Birthday to Nicholas B this month!

Starfish
I can not believe how fast our summer is going by. The children really seem like they are enjoying being in the starfish group. They especially liked going on the field trips to the bowling alley and to Blackbeards cave. We look forward to the rest of the trips in the up coming weeks. The children also loved the fun lessons, programs and events that took place at the school. We have many exciting weeks ahead. We will be learning about dinosaurs, outerspace, the jungle and more.
