August Already!

As August approaches we remember all of the fun things we have done over the summer! We had lots of fun trips this year, and many visitors! August still has plenty of arriving, like a trip to go on carnival rides, a color workshop coming and more! This month we also start transitioning students into their new classrooms for September! Please see your mailbox for updates! As a reminder, August I'm sure will bring hot weather, so please bring in water if you would like to keep in the cubbie (all bottles need to be labeled with first and last names).

Darling Dolphins

Can you believe we have one more month of fun in the sun? We are going to have a blast in August. Our themes for the month are"Somewhere Over The Rainbow", "Crazy Carnival Week", "Time Machine", "Crafty Kids" and "Cooking Anyone?". Now here's some news about our Darling Dolphins. Jack H. is rolling from his back to his belly. Jack H. (Big Jack) can always be found looking out the window by the door for mom or aunt Karen. Nicholas will be walking before you know it. Joseph is crawling everywhere, no more commando crawl. Emerson is busy at the table doing art projects and her pal Marli is going to flip on to her belly any day now. Alex is crawling everywhere. Tyler is having fun getting to know his new friends and Aaron is happy sitting at the tale with table toys. Kayla enjoys being on the floor and playing with the kick and play while Abigail is doing a great job sitting up be herself! Jared can always be found two steps behind Miss Cindy and everyone is just growing too fast!! We want to wish Happy Birthday to Joseph on the 7th, Nicholas on the 9th and Miss Beth on the 25th. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Super Seals

What a great summer this has been! Our Super seals have made lots of new friends and are having so much fun! Boy have we been busy too! Our Sprinkler Days are our favorite. Miss Jess and Miss Tone call us their little fishies. Upcoming Sprinkler Days are August 5th, 9th, 19th, 24th and 29th. We are looking forward to many exciting visitors including the Color Workshop, the Moon Bounce and even the Ice Cream Man! We can't wait for Music through Time on the 15th and Color Me Mine on the 23rd. During our weekly theme of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" we are really focusing on our colors and having fun with rainbows. For "Crazy Carnival Week" we can't wait to explore the different carnival animals like elephants and lions. Everyday we are doing something new and exciting, from music and outdoor play, to sign language and Spanish. What a great summer this has been so far! We want to wish Happy Birthday to Ian on the 6th, Derek n the 21st, Luke on the 24th and Joseph on the 29th Please remember to keep a complete change of clothing in your child's cubbie and to label all belongings. We hope your summer has been as great as ours and we wish everyone a happy and healthy August!

Marvelous Manatee

Wow! What a busy month July was! We had so much fun on our trips to Monmouth Museum, Petco, Island Beach State Park and The Music Man Shop. We want to thank our chaperons for helping us out. We all had a great time watching the Magician and the Puppet Show that came to our school and the Pony Rides were fun, fun fun!! August is looking to be awesome, with lots of fun trips and more visitors. We'll be learning lots of exciting things as we explore the themes of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", "Crazy Carnival Week", "Time Machine", "Crafty Kids", and "Cooking Anyone?". Our Sprinkler Days for August are the 5th, 9th, 19th, 24th, and 29th. Please remember to label water bottles and all your child's belongings and don't forget those towels and plastic bags for wet clothes on Sprinkler Day. Please check your child's show and tell day, the children love to share things from home with their friends.

Sparkling Seahorses

July has just flown by and what a great time we're having! Our Seahorses had so much fun going on all those fantastic trips! Even those rainy days early in the month could not dampen our spirits! The Music Man Ice Cream Shop was great...a fun show and yummy ice cream too! The Magician, Animal Puppet Show, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Amphibian Show and The Galaxy Explorer all added to our summer fun! We can't wait for all the August adventures that await us. Our Sprinkler days for the month of August are the 5th, 9th, 19th, 24th and 29th. Please remember to have your child wear their swim wear and bring a complete change of clothing. We want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Michael A. on the 6th and Katrina S. on the 17th.

Terrific Turtles

July was a fantastic month! We did no many wonderful things. Everyone loved the Magician and all our little Turtles looked so adorable on Dress up Day, we should do that more often! The Petting Zoo and Pony rides were lots of fun, we loved petting the soft animals and we were great at making animal sounds! This month we will learn about colors, enjoy crazy carnival fun, travel through time, create cool projects and even bake cookies! In addition to Sprinkler Days (5th, 9th, 19th, 24th, and the 29th) we are very excited about bouncing around on the Moon Bounce and having special treats when the Ice Cream Man visits us at school. Please remember to bring everything you child needs to have fun on Sprinkler Day, including a plastic bag for wet clothes. No one in the Turtles has a birthday this month, so we'll just wish everyone a Terrifc August!

Wonderful Whales

The Toddlers are having a great summer and having lots of fun in our class. They liked learning about Broadway shows, Animals, Dinosaurs and Outer Space. Everyone had a great time watching the magician and puppet shows and the animal petting zoo was a big hit! The Whales are also having lots of fun splashing around on Sprinkler Day!

The Toddlers would like to wish Chloe B. and Ricky D. a Happy 2nd Birthday on the 15th and 28th. We are looking forward to all the special events, especially the Ice Cream Man visit! Fantastic Fish

Camp is half over and we've been having so much fun! Everyone in the Fantastic Fishe room really enjoyed all the special visitors last month, especially the Petting Zoo and the Pony Rides! We still have many exciting events coming up in August. We can't wait for the Moon Bounce Machine and the Ice Cream Man to visit us in the next few weeks. As you know, we love Sprinkler Day, so don't forget those swimsuits and towels on the 5th, 9th, 19th, 24th and 29th. We will be having show and tell on August 11th and all the Fish want to wish Emil a very Happy Birthday on August 7th. We hope everyone is enjoying the nice summer weather!

Shining Starfish

July is gone and the summer seems to be going by as fast as the school year! We had a lot of fun this past month. We went on great field trips, were visited by super fun guests and met some new friends! August promises to be just as much fun, with themes like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", "Crazy Carnival Week", "Crafty Kids", and "Cooking Anyone?". We will be going on field trips too! We can't wait to go berry picking, ride carnival rides, visit Allaire State Park and Home Depot, and have lunch at CB Huntington's. I would like to thank all my chaperons who volunteered to accompany us on our trips. Along with all these fun trips, we will also be celebrating Leah's birthday on August 12th. Happy Birthday Leah!! Please remember that all children must have a change of clothes for emergency situations. Also, supplying your child with a plastic bag on Sprinkler Day would help a lot! Please continue to label all of your child's belongings. As always, thank you for all of your support.
