Here is what has been going on in the Infant room: Charlie is just crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to stand. Ethan is having a blast walking with the walker. Ava is clapping her hands to music. Joesph is walking and doing a fabulous job. Gabriella is loving tummy time. Marnie enjoys looking at herself in the mirror. Michael is having fun in the exersaucer. Sean enjoys playing with the blue top, he enjoys spinning it. We want to say thank you for being one of the best labeling classes in Darling Dolphin history, again Thank you and keep up the good work. We want to wish Miss Cherrell on August 9th!

Terrific Turtles

What a great time we had in July! We had so much fun with our pony rides and we really enjoyed listening to the story teller. We also got to march in the animal parade which was a lot of fun seeing all the different stuffed animals. Here's what we enjoyed this pass month: Jack and Madison had tons of fun galloping on the ponies. Marli and Aaron listened to the story teller. Abigail and Wyatt loved petting the goats. Michael and Emerson loved creating butterflies out of construction paper. We are looking forward to the animal madness of August. Our themes in August are: South African Safari, Zany Zoo Pals, A Taste of Italy, Friends By the Sea and China Hosts the Summer olympics. We would like to remind our parents to label all items with your child's first and last names. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!

Wonderful Whales

July was a fun and busy month of learning about "The USA", "Pets", "Mexican Madness" and "Creepy Crawlies". The Toddlers also enjoyed going in the sprinkler and watching a show with a storyteller. They liked making a passport, a birdhouse, riding on ponies and petting the dogs from the 4-H Club. The Toddlers have made some new friends at camp and are having a good time!

The themes for this month are: "South African Safari", "Zany Zoo Pals", "A Taste of Italy", "Friends by the Sea" and "China Hosts the Summer Camps". The Toddlers can't wait to learn about these. For the health and safety of our class, make sure everything that belongs to your child is labeled with first and last name. Also, make sure your child has two sets of weather appropriate clothing in their cubbies that are labeled. In our classroom your child only needs two sippy cups, one with water so they can have it throughout the day and a juice/milk cup for lunch. We do provide juice for morning and afternoon snack.

Thank You,
Miss Bethanne and Miss Ellen

Fantastic Fish

It so hard to believe that summer is already half over. The first month of camp brought lots new friends and some very exciting visitors. We loved the pony rides and the petting zoo. We also loved listening to the story teller. In August, we will have more exciting days to come. We are very excited about the Peppy Penguins visit and the Little Mermaid Bounce in August. Sprinkler days are on the 3rd, 11th, 14th, 23rd and the 29th. Please remember to come into class in your bathing suit! Also, please remember to label first and last name on everything, especially clothes. We don't want anyone to go home in the wrong clothes on those days! We would like to wish Ricky, Ethan and Angelina a very Happy Birthday! We hope all of our families have a fun, cool and safe August!

Thank You
Miss Jordyn and Miss Ruthie

Super Seals

Happy August to all of our Super Seals campers! Last month, we had a fantastic time marching in our pet parade and making our very own passports and birdhouses. We even got to interact with a storyteller as she told us some very silly stories. We all love cooling off and getting wet in the sprinkler, too! This month is also filled with loads of excitement as we travel to different cultures from around the world. We're having a lizard guy come to visit and we are going to make our own tambourine! We are looking forward to the penguins coming and the Little Mermaid Bounce, it is going to be a lot of fun! We also will paint ceramic animals and participate in an Italian Festival ! Please remember to bring in extra clothes on sprinkler days and label all of your child's items. Also, be sure to pack water because we are in the hottest month of the year! We would like to wish Christian, Lauren, Jonathon and Maryrose a Happy Birthday! Thank you for letting your children spend their summer with us!

Love,
Miss Laura and Miss Phyllis

Marvelous Manatee

Greetings from the campers of the Manatees! We are having so much fun this summer! So far, we have been to outer space and back at the planetarium. We went to the wild west and turned into cowboys and cowgirls on our pony rides. We took part in a Mexican hat dance and braved the spooky lands of the creepy crawlies at Insectropolis. On hot days we kept our cool by eating firework popsicles and playing in the sprinklers with our friends. Some of the visitors that shared in our summer fun thus far included a story teller, the 4-H Club, an International Music show and a petting zoo! If you think July was exciting, wait till next month! August will bring the Lizard Guy, Madagascar Bounce, penguins will visit and many trips! We will also be traveling to different countries and learning about their cultures. We will also be going to visit the animals at the Zany Zoo and seeing some friends by the sea. We want to thank all of our chaperons for making our trips so much fun and safe! Parents, please remember to label all of your child's belongings with first and last name. Also, remember to check your calendar for sprinkler days! Everyone is doing a great job, so let's keep it up! We would also like to wish a Happy Birthday to Luke and Dan!

Sparkling Seahorses

The hot days of July brought pony rides, story tellers, the petting zoo and two terrific trips to the Planetarium and Insectropolis, wow! We have had so much fun! We have also made some great projects. How about those Mexican sombreros? Our sprinkler days have really kept us cool on these hot days during this past month. Throughout the month of August we will experience more traveling as we venture on a South African Safari and learn about the history and customs of Italy and China. Zany Zoo animals and Friends by the Sea will also enhance our learning and fun. We also have some great trips planned for the month of August. We will be going to the Popcorn Park Zoo, the Monmoth Museum, Blackbeard's for a golf tournament and bowling! It is sure to be a blast! I would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Bridget and Joseph!

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and keep cool!
