Happy Holidays

The days are getting shorter and a chill is in the air...believe it or not the holidays are upon us.! Everyone at the Goddard School wants to extend their warmest wishes for a Safe and Happy Holiday Season to all our families. In the spirit of this giving season we want to thank everyone for their generous donations to our recent food drive to help local families. The food was picked up and distributed by workers at the Division of Youth and Family Services.

Although the days are colder, the children enjoy getting outside to play so please be sure to send those warm hats and gloves.

We are looking forward to a fun December with our older children taking a field trip to the Theatre, while those too young to leave the school will be entertained by the magic of Frosty and Bruce Bray.

Again, have a wonderful December, enjoy you friends and families!

Terrific Turtles

November was a very busy month for the Turtles. We learned all about Harvest Time. We watched the leaves change colors and bundled up as the days got colder. Grace loved washing the leaves in the water table as Hailey cooked "leaf soup" in the kitchen. Brendan enjoyed eating corn muffins while Ryan L. had a blast sorting apples with Andrew and Jack. Jared and Dante practiced farm animal sounds and Ryan M. has perfected those waking skills. Way to go!!

We all enjoyed our Thanksgiving Feast and thank everyone for sending in all the yummy food. During December we will be learning about different celebrations all around the world. We look forward to hearing from our families about any special holiday traditions they would like to share with the children.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
Miss Katherine and Miss Debbie

Wonderful Whales

November was a busy month with learning about Harvesting and having fun at our Thanksgiving Feast. Thanks to all of the parents who signed up to bring in all of the goodies for the feast. They are working very hard at their social skills during center-time...they're improving everyday. During December we will explore celebrations around the world. We will talk about different customs and celebrations as well as traveling and living in other countries. As we learn about celebrations we will be wishing Happy Birthday to our friends Ashley, Evan and Nico. For the health and safety of our children please remember to label everything with you first and last name. Also check to be certain that your child has two complete sets of season appropriate clothing. Seasons Greetings to everyone! We wish you a safe and happy holiday!
