Terrific TurtlesThe month of June was exciting and fun for our Terrific Turtles. We learned all about summer fun. Brent and Ava found sea shells hiding in our room while Rocco and Ashley tried a life jacket on for size. Anthony and Sophia were so silly walking around in flippers! Sean, Paul and Charlie loved eating s'mores when we learned about camping. We welcomed Mario into our room this month. We will be sad to say good-bye to our friends moving up to the Toddler room, we will miss you! We have a busy July coming up. We are excited to get to know our new friends and share the joy of learning about authors and books with them. Happy 4th of July. Miss Lisa and Miss Debbie |

Super SealsJune was a splash in the Super Seals classroom. The children showed a great interest in all of our weekly themes this month. They learned a great deal about water safety and they had a blast during our life jacket relay race. It was so exciting to watch the children fish in our water table and stuff their backpacks for a pretend camping trip. We are looking forward to beginning our summer program. This summer our theme will be "Leap Into Literature" each week we will high light an author and his/her literature. Projects and activities will coincide with the books that we will be reading. It is going to be a fun-filled month. Keep your eyes and ears open for special visitors and events. Miss Jeanette and Miss Lisa |

We are going to get "buggy" and explore colors at Catus Island Park. Then we are going to get really wild when the Lizard Guys come to visit our camp and we will be going bowling...it all is sure to be a strike! We waited all year for Sprinkler Days and now we finally get to get cool and splash around in the sun! Please remember to bring a water bottle everyday and apply sun screen before arriving at camp. So, without further ado...let's blast off into Summer and have fun in the sun!

Sparkling SeahorsesThe end of our school year has come to a close. It has been a fabulous year for the Seahorses. Throughout the month of June we enjoyed many water activities and science experiments revolving around our theme "Water, Water Everywhere". Summer camp is here and we will be "Leaping into Literature". We will be learning about many famous authors and the creative and exciting stories they have written. We will also be enjoying all the summer fun activities: Field trips, water slides, sprinkler days and pony rides! It's going to be an awesome summer! Our Seahorses have grown and blossomed socially and academically. We are so proud of them. They did a fantastic job performing for their graduation ceremony. We want to wish all of our Seahorses a great year in Kindergarten. Congratulations! It always feels sad to say good-bye but the future holds so many new and exciting experiences. It is only the ending of the beginning. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful summer! Miss Elyssa and Miss Rebecca |
