Happy Fourth of July

We hope everyone has a great Fourth of July Holiday! Summer is quickly passing and before we know it September will be here already! Everyone in our summer program is having a great time with all of the fun and exciting activities that have occurred! Be sure to check out all of the great pictures hanging in the hallways that capture all the fun! The PTO would like to give a BIG thanks to all of the parents and staff who have contributed donations for the Chinese Auction! The auction will be held at the school on July 26, 2001 from 7-9 pm. There are door prizes and yummy treats too! Please see Miss Kristy or Miss Jen for more details. Just a few reminders for the month of July:
- Children should arrive in closed toed shoes for the summer program.
- Lunches need to be labeled with first AND last name.
- Children should have a beverage and utensils with their lunches at all times.
- Children should be arriving no later than 9 am. Because they will miss the scheduled activities.
- Have a great July!
Thank You!

Our little Darling Dolphins are growing everyday! Rachel’s birthday will be here on July 6! She is going to be 1 years old! She is now walking around the room doing 4-8 steps at a time! Brianna is now sitting by herself without help..she is playing and trying to get as many toys as she can! She also got her first two teeth! Shane is running a "marathon" with his kicking and moving. He is very close to rolling over! He is also trying to hold his bottle and feed himself! Ryan M. gave his first steps already and he is so proud! He is talking and talking and calling miss Annette when he is hungry! Our little James loves to play with different toys. He is very busy always looking for new ones. Ryan M. is also growing up so fast! He is now a half of an inch taller! He crawls and loves to stand up holding onto everything!

Super Seals

Well, here we are already into the month of July! We are blasting out of our Beach theme and running into the Goddard Olympics! First we would like to welcome our new friends Mehdi, Masooma, Tara and Elizabeth into our classroom! For the first couple of weeks we will be learning how to play all different sports. We will then discuss why exercise is good for us. We will wrap up our Olympic theme by learning how to feel good about ourselves and portraying good sportsmanship to our friends. We will then wave our magic wands right into fantasy fun! We will learn the difference between fairy tale and nursery rhyme.

Marvelous Manatee

Wow, June has been a great success with our summer program! We had so much fun in the Marvelous Manatee room with our Beach Blast theme and Mr. Golden Sun! We learned many new things about summer, life under the sea, seashells and aquariums. We even learned what a Manatee was! Our highlights were the sprinkler days, looking at seahorses and starfish under the magnifying glass and making footprints in the sand! We are now looking forward to July which brings us the Goddard Olympics and Fantasy Fun! We have many fun activities planned with water play, relays olympic games and fantasy play too! A great big Happy Birthday to Brianna and Miss Beth! Our trips are coming up! All children must wear their Goddard T- shirts! I will need chaperones so come out and join the fun! You can sign up in the classroom!
Thank you!
