The Goddard Times - June 2003.

Toss Those Caps, It's Time For Graduation!

Can you believe that it is graduation time already! Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students who are graduating have been working super hard to impress everyone on June 19th- and boy are we proud of them! Remember to refer to the graduation letter for detailed instructions for the big day!

Soon the Summer program will begin (June 23rd) and many of our children will be ready to move into their new classroom. Please make sure to continue to label everything with first and last name and remember, it's getting warmer so please bring in new extra clothing to remain in your child's cubbie. Have a great summer to all parents leaving us until September!

Wonderful Whales

The Whales can't wait for the warm weather. We had a busy May with Spring pictures, Teacher's appreciation week, Celebrating Mother's Day and enjoyed your cards and flowers. The children learned alot about the different vegetables, flowers, trees and worms and things. The children are learning so much and talking up a storm. This month we will be doing alot of reviewing and getting ready to move up to the next class. We would like to wish Kaitlyn a happy birthday on June 8th. We would like to thank all the parents for the wonderful baskets of gifts.

Marvelous Manatee

I absolutely can't believe that it's June and graduation time! The year has just flown by and we sure have and a lot of fun. As many of your children are moving on to new classes and new schools I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the pleasure of getting to know you and to work with your wonderful children. It has truly been a privilege and I can honestly say I have learned at least as much as I have taught this year. We wish you all the very best of luck in everything you do now and into the future. Thanks again!

Miss Kristen and Miss Darlene
P.S. Remember that graduation is only for those Manatees who will be going to kindergarten next year ('03-'04).

Sparkling Seahorses

The end of the school year is coming quickly. It really doesn't seem possible! It is however, very definitely time for our Seahorses to move on to bigger and better things. These children have worked very hard and achieved many goals. Miss Sara and myself are extremely proud of all of them! We look forward to entertaining you graduation night and are sure you will be very proud as well. We are also very excited about the arrival of all the fun activities that are planned! Happy Birthday to our June bugs, Brian M on the 4th, Andrew on th 16th and Danielle on the 9th. Best of luck to all our graduates now and in the future! It has been a pleasure!

Thank you,
Miss Jami and Miss Sara

Shining Starfish

Once again we are nearing the end of the school year. Graduation is on the agenda with plans and practice sessions. This year June 19th, will be graduation day and already the children are diligently preparing for that most special occasion. Along with our graduation preparation we will be continuing our study of June's theme: Aquarium Adventure with units about sea animals, coral and seashells. We'll also be learning numbers 90-100 and doing some reviewing of colors and shapes studied this year. In closing may I thank all of you for another great year! Your children have grown and accomplished much since that first day back in September. I wish each of them and you a successful year in the first grade. A special thank you to all my parents for the many wonderful things you said at conferences as well as your support, trust and appreciation you gave to me all year! Thank you! Have a happy and safe summer.
