As Spring turns to Summer...

Can it be another school year has come and gone? It's time to wish farewell and good luck to all of our graduates as they leave us to enter Kindergarten and First Grade. It's been so wonderful watching you grow and we will miss you very much! June will find many of our school friends transitioning to their new classrooms before the start of summer camp. What a wonderful adventure as they meet new friends and explore their new surroundings.

Speaking of new adventures, keep in mind that camp will begin on July 3rd and we are looking forward to another great summer at The Goddard School! Have a great June and Happy Father's Day to all our Dad's, Grandpa's and Special friends.

Darling Dolphins

June is all about Water,Water Everywhere, "Summer Safety", "Ocean Adventures", "Lovely Lakes" and "Gone Camping." Then the most important day of June is Father's Day on the 8th. Here's what is going on in the Darling Dolphins. Charlie is scooting backwards. Ava is getting so big, she loves holding her bottle while being fed. Michael is doing a great job walking around. Ethan is pulling himself up to stand. Madison is having lots of fun signing to everyone. Jack is trying to talk. Marnie rolls everywhere. Sean is sitting up by himself. Joseph says "hi" to everyone when they come into the room. Aiden is pulling himself up on his own and standing for a few seconds. Aaron and Emerson are enjoying their walks outside. Parents please label all of your child's belongings with first and last name. Check cubbies for weather appropriate clothing. Bring sunblock for when we go outside and a hat if you wish. We would like to welcome Miss Cherrell and Happy Birthday to Aiden and Ethan.

Terrific Turtles

May was a marvelous month. We had a great time learnin about Flowers,Vegetables,bugs and our forest friends. We also had a great time at our Mother's Day Tea. It was great to have all our mommy's come to have a snack with us! We also want to thank all the parents for the very thoughtful gifts during teacher appreciation week. We are looking forward to June, our themes for this month are Summer Safety, Ocean Adventures, Lovely Lakes and Going Camping. Our number is ten and our letter is Z. We will be reviewing all of our colors and shapes. We would like to wish Hailey,Ryan,and Jared a very happy 2nd Birthday. Happy Fathers day to all of the dad's.

Wonderful Whales

May was a month of mild weather,learning about the jungle,vegetable gardens,flowers the forrest and bugs. The Toddlers had fun making their gifts for Mother's Day and having tea with their moms during lunchtime. We Would like to thank all of the parents who participated in teacher appreciation week. It was very nice of you.

We hope all the mom's had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and that everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend!

The Whales are doing great with their Spanish skills and enjoy doing the different base fitness activities. The Toddlers are growing to be big boys and girls. The themes for this month are "Summer Safety","Ocean Adventures", "Lovely Lakes" and "Gone Camping." For the health and safety of our class please make sure that everything that belongs to your child is labeled with first and last name. Now that the weather is getting warmer make sure your child has a labeled bottle of sunscreen, a hat and two sets of weather appropriate clothing. Also check your child's cubby for reminders if your child needs anything.

Fantastic Fish

Summer is here! We are so excited for the warmer days and longer days. Because of the warm weather please remember to keep a water bottle in your child's cubby to drink when they get thirsty. We had so much fun in May celebrating our moms all month long. We especially enjoyed having them visit for lunch. We loved examining all the different bug,animals and plants that are waking up now that it is getting warmer. We were so sad to see the butterflies go as well. We are going to miss all of our friends that are moving to the Super Seals room or who are leaving us for the summer.

Super Seals

We had a great time in the month of May! We learned about vegetables that grow in the garden and animals that live in the jungle, boy was that fun! We explored the forrest and talked about what lives in the forrest. The Super Seals really enjoyed learning about Bugs, the good, bad and the ugly. We also had a blast at our Mother's Day Tea! Thank you to everyone that was able to make it, we had a lot of fun! We also really enjoyed Teacher Appreciation week, thank you to all the parents! We have been having fun learning more Spanish words and practicing our sign language skills. We have been using our sign language skills that we have learned and we are now putting it to songs. We are looking forward to a fun month of June and getting our summer started! We will be talking about summer safety and going on some exciting ocean adventures. We will be exploring some lovely lakes and taking a trip to go camping! We would like to wish a Happy Birthday to Josh on the 20th. We wish all our Father's a very happy Father's Day!

Marvelous Manatee

Happy spring everyone! The Manatees are in full swing and smiling from ear to ear in the sunshine! We've been on jungle explorations. We have grown carrots and pretty flowers and took a trip through the forest! We did manage to stumble on a few bugs,but now we're on greener pastures! June promises to be a wonderful water adventure and we cant wait to swim into the summer months! We're in full speed ahead and the Manatees are maturing into the brightest preschoolers you have ever met! We are so proud of all of our friends! The end of the school year is near some of us will be saying goodbye, but we will never forget our time at the Goddard School, laughing and learning together! Thank You to all Manatee students and parents who have enriched our lives just by knowing you! It has been a marvelous journey! Happy Birthday Cassie, Chloe, Melina and Samantha V.

Sparkling Seahorses

The Sparkling Seahorses have blossomed. They have grown academically and become more independent and responsible. May brought much excitement into our classroom as we discovered how vegetables grow and we also found out how much fun it is to paint with them too! We learned about animals that live in the jungle and the forest and also about their habitat. Bugs were also a part of our learning experience the good, the bad and the ugly. It was very exciting! Our Mother's Day tea was very special, a thank you to all the moms who were able to share this day with their children, we hoped you liked your special gift. The children had fun making them. It is hard to believe that the year end of the year is approaching. The children are working very hard for their graduation ceremony, they want it to be a special day for their parents and family. June brings water,water everywhere and hopefully some warmer temperatures too!

We want to wish a happy birthday to Matthew who will be turning five, and a Happy Father's Day to all of the dad's.

Starfish

The year has gone by so fast and I can hardly believe it is time to say goodbye. We have grown in height, maturity, and knowledge and I know all of the starfish will succeed in first grade. But before we go, we still have one more month of fun with June's theme of "Water,Water Everywhere!." We will be learning about "Summer Safety.""Ocean Adventures", "Lovely Lakes" and "Gone Camping." We will also be celebrating Flag Day on the 14th and Fathers Day on the 18th. Best of luck to all my Kindergartners. It has been a pleasure teaching you and I will remember you always.
