A Great Year...

It's been a very fun and exciting year here at The Goddard School. The opening of our new addition and the added fun of the gym certainly added to the fun! Thank you to our friends who came and helped us celebrate the gym during our May 5th open house. Everyone had fun dancing and singing to the hits with Melody and Presley! We can hardly wait for them to return during summer camp. Speaking of Summer Camp...it's that time of year again! Time to wish all of our graduates farewell and good luck as they leave us to enter Kindergarten and First Grade. It has been a pleasure and a joy to watch you grow and we will all miss you very much. Each of you has left us with many woderful memories and we hope you come back to visit with us from time to time. June will also find many of our current school friends transitioning to their new classrooms before summer camp starts in July. Please do not hesitate to drop by those new rooms and get aquainted with your child's new teachers. We are looking forward to a great summer here at The Goddard School. Have a wonderfual month and Happy Father's Day to all our Dad's, Grandpa's and Special family and friends!

Darling Dolphins

What a month of May we had in our Infant room. We first want to give Miss Cindy a big thank you for taking care of the all our little friends and the classroom throughout the month! We have been very busy this month. Everyone is moving all around and exploring everything in the classroom. In June we will be busy with a month of Birthdays for the Darling Dolphins!! Some of our friends that will be having a birthday are: Ave on the 9th, Matthew and Cooper on the 14th, Madison on the 20th and Ashlee on the 22nd! Wow, everyone is growing up! Throughout June we will be talking about water , summer safety, ocean adventures, lovely lakes and gone camping! Let's not forget Happy Father's Day to all our great dads! Just a few reminders to bring in sun screen for your child and to please label it with your child's first and last name.

Terrific Turtles

We have seen many things grow in the month of May. We experienced jungles, a vegetable garden, flowers blooming, forest fun and dinosaurs babies. Brent and Ashley got to hunt through the jungle using binoculars. Rocco and Ava got to experience the fun of painting with a potato. Anthony and Sophia got to water the flowers outside. Sean enjoyed camping out in the forest. Paul and Charlie got to see dinosaur eggs. The month of June is all about Summer Fun! We will learn about "Summer safety", "Ocean adventures", "Lovely Lakes" and all about "Camping". We will review the colors and shapes that the children have come across throughout the year. We would like to welcome Anthony to our class and we wish you a Happy Father's Day to all our wonderful dads!

Wonderful Whales

May was a fun month of nice weather and learning about the jungle, vegetable gardens, flowers, the forest and dinosaurs. The children had so much fun learning about them. The toddlers are now becoming more independent and talking up a storm with each other during center time. Everyone loves learning new words in Spanish and in sign language. Almost everyone can sing all the circle time songs on their own, they are so smart! We hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend! Our themes for this month are: "Summer safety", "Ocean adventures", "lovely lakes", and "gone camping". We are very excited to experience these themes through fun learning activities in the classroom. We like to wish all the Dad's a Happy Fathers' Day on the 17th. For the health and safety of our class please remember to label everything with first and last names. Now that it is getting warm, we also need two sets of weather appropriate clothing. Don't forget your child's sun screen and please label it with first and last name.

Jolly Jellyfish

The month of May was exciting and fun for the Jolly Jellyfish. We enjoyed exploring our monthly themes which included: "In the Jungle", "In the Vegetable Garden", "Fancy Flowers", "Fun in the Forest" and "Dinosaur Babies". We did a super job using our imaginations to glue black stripes on Zebras and brown spots on giraffes. We also liked planting our very own flower seeds in soil and we can't wait to watch them grow! We are really looking forward to learning all about the water! We have a busy month of June coming up. We have a lot of friends celebrating a birthday this month. Happy Birthday to Hailey on the 1st, Meghan on the 7th, Aidan on the 13th and Ethan on the 6th! Just a friendly reminder to our parents; please be sure to label all of your child's belongings, especially food. Also, please make sure that everything is labeled with first and last names!

Fantastic Fish

May was a busy month for the Fantastic fish. We learned about jungle friends, vegetables, flowers, forest friends and dinosaurs. We made special hand prints for our moms. We learned about how flowers grow. We had fun learning about the dinosaurs that lived a long time ago. June promises to be a busy month as well. Our theme for the month is "Water, Water Everywhere". We will learn about summer safety, the ocean, lakes and camping. We have lots of fun activities planned for this busy month. A friendly reminder to our parents to label everything with your child's first and last name on all your child's belongings. We would also like to wish your dad's a Happy Father's Day! Also a Happy Birthday to George and Hailey!

Super Seals

May was a fun-filled month. The children are so excited that the beautiful weather has arrived. We have been trying to get outdoors as often as possible. May brought us through the jungle, where we got to meet many jungle animals. Then we went into the vegetable garden, where we examined different vegetables and used them with paint! We had a lot of fun getting our hands in the dirt planting many types of seeds. We can't wait for them to sprout into beautiful flowers. The children loved spending a morning with their mommies. We hope everyone enjoyed our special songs, as we know how special our mommies are to each of us. The month of June will be busy, busy, busy! Please check the calendar for our weekly themes that will be going for the month and look for those special celebrations!

Lovely Lobsters

May was a wonderful month for everyone! The children spent time learning about what lives and grows in the jungle and the forest. We also planted our own vegetable garden and flowers with much success. The end of the month brought us to the amazing world of dinosaurs! The Lovely Lobsters put on their very first "concert" for all our moms for Mother's Day and they all did a great job! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful Mother's Day! During the month of June we will be exploring the following new and exciting themes: Summer Safety, Ocean Adventures, Lovely Lakes and Gone Camping. Please make sure your child has sun screen clearly labeled, as well as a permission slip for application. I wanted to take some time to thank all of you for your thoughts during Teacher Appreciation Week. This has been a wonderful experience for me and all of you have really made me feel like part of the Goddard School family!

Marvelous Manatee

I can't believe it is June! This school year has gone so fast and the children have come such a long way. It seems like yesterday it was September and our class was young and testing the waters. They have grown into confident, well-rounded, knowledgeable Pre-schoolers. We couldn't be more proud! The amounts of independence, self discipline and like skills the children exhibit are remarkable. Our laughs, special moments and our fun times have been countless. We feel so lucky to have had the experience with such a wonderful class. The friendships are stronger, relationships are closer and our bonds are solid! Our class has become an extended family and that is an outstanding goal to have met. We would like to thank all of our families for your active roles, positive reinforcements, generosity and kindness you have all given us all year! We couldn't be more proud of the children's accomplishments. The foundation is set and they are ready for their next journey. We wish you much happiness and success for the future. It has been a road well worth traveling.

Sparkling Seahorses

Can you believe it's June? This year has flown by so quickly. During the month of May the children learned so much about how the world around them grows. They enjoyed planting their own seeds and observing how they grow, too! We also had an exciting week learning about dinosaurs. Our little one have blossomed socially and academically, we are very proud of all their accomplishments. Graduation is upon us and our Seahorses have been working very hard to make this day special for our families. We are very excited! A big thank you to all the Mom's who visited our classroom for our Mother's Day morning snack. The children loved having you with them. We hope you had a great day! Water, water everywhere is our theme for June and we will continue to have lots of fun and many more learning experiences. We want to wish a Happy Father's Day to all our Dads. Don't forget Graduation day is Thursday, June 28th!

Well, here we are, the final stretch! It seems like yesterday that I walked in our classroom to see the unsure expressions on your children's faces. I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure of teaching and getting to know them! I hope they have enjoyed the year as much as I have. Thank you all for coming to see our Mother's Day presentation. I am sure you will agree that they were fantastic! Get ready Dads, they have a great show in store for your as well.Our June themes help us to embrace the arrival of summer and includes: "Summer Safety", "Ocean Adventures", "Lovely Lakes" and "Gone Camping". We will be reviewing everything this month including, well everything! Also, parent/teacher conferences are here once again and I look forward to checking in with you! I would like to wish Alina a Happy Birthday! I will see everyone on Graduation night on June 28th! Thank you for a great school year!
