St. Patrick's DayHappy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Scholastic Book Fair! We were able to choose $525 worth of free books for the school library! Thank you very much for your support! We are very proud of all our students for bearing with the little playground time they have been getting because of all this snow! We did get out a few days though...and played in the snow! Happy Birthday this month to Miss Bethanne and Miss Jami! Congratulations to Miss Melanie who was our employee of the month in February! Remember Summer Activity ity Fees are due by no later than March 10, 2003 in order to secure your child's spot for the Summer Program. Tuition remains the same throughout the summer, this is a one time fee for visitors and extra special supplies!

Darling DolphinsThe Dolphins would like to welcome Sydney and Candice to our class. Natalia is now running around the room. Cassidy is so sweet to the little ones, giving them hugs and kisses. Keara is walking around the room now, she also gives us pats on the back. Hannah is taking steps and is full of energy. Sydney enjoys playing with our musical toys. Madison is almost crawling. Marisa and Justin are pulling themselves up on everything, trying to use the walkers. Colin enjoys kicking his legs at the table, he looks like he trying to run somewhere. Nicole is so strong on her tummy, and is rolling all over the room. Candice is the sweetest little girl, she loves to snuggle. Thank you all the moms and dads for bringing snacks for our party. Just a few reminders for the health and safety of your children, please make sure all items brought to school have your childs' first and last name on them. Please make sure you check the dish drain at the end of the day.
Thank you |

Super SealsDuring the month of February, we learned about caring and sharing for Valentines day. The children decorated their boxes and we hope they enjoyed all of their cards and goodies. Our party was a success and we thank all parents who brought in treats for the children. Besides Valentines day, the Super Seals learned about A Day out on the Town. We studied the market, bank, florist shop and museum. The children thought digging up bones in our sand table was so exciting. As a class, we have learned letters V and R last month and each student should be able to recognize them. Coming up in March, the Seals will explore the Weather. We will learn about the wind, rain, sun and snow. We sure had enough snow. Our color is purple and the children will study letters M and B. A very happy birthday to Sara, Josh, Keegan, Connor and Christopher. Miss Courtney and Miss Michelle |

Sparkling SeahorsesFebruary came in fast and went out with a fury. Our days out on the town were full of fun and the children really enjoyed them. Now we are embarking on the world of weather this month and it's going to be great! We would like to thank all of you who helped with our Valentine celebration, it was a "sweet" success! We would like to say Happy Birthday to our March babies Mary, Rebecca, Sophia and Trevor. Just a few reminders; your child's cubby must have a change of season appropriate clothing as well as underwear and socks at all times. At the end of each week your childs' sleeping bag must be washed and returned on his/her next scheduled day.

StarfishWe are into the home stretch, as it were, of the school year as we enter the month of March. It should prove to be equally busy as the previous months. The children have learned a great deal, but much more is ahead. In this month we will take a close look into the various facets of the weather such as wind, rain, sun and snow. Along with these themes we will be learning more about the letters J,K,L and the sound of M. In the month we'll be studying the decode 60 as well as the concept of addition problems and structure. We'll also be learning the oval figure/ shape, and the color purple. We'll take time to learn about St. Patrick's Day and enjoy the excitement that surrounds this holiday with our own classroom celebration. We will welcome in the season of spring on March 21st.
Happy Spring! |
