Darling Dolphins

What a great month of February we had in the infant room. Everyone looked so cute dressed up in all red on Valentine's Day! There has been a lot going on in our infant room. Ashlee is crawling everywhere. Alexis is just cute as a button. Cooper is adjusting well to our classroom. Victoria looks so cute when she is sucking on her thumb. Madison is starting to roll around on the floor. Robert enjoys going out for a buggy ride. Matthew will be crawling before we know it. Ashley enjoys going under the table and tugging on our pants. Ava has fun holding on by the block pit. Tripp has fun playing with the activity centers. Samantha is having fun during tummy time. Everyone is growing so fast, we are enjoying every minute with them. In March it is all about "Wild Weather". Don't forget about Dr. Seuss March 2nd and St. Patrick's Day on March 17th "Let's all wear Green!" Parents please remember to label all of your child's belongings with first and last name. Please be sure to check your child's cubby for extra clothing, bibs and extra sheets.

Thank You!

Terrific Turtles

February was an exciting month for our Terrific Turtles. Everyone has learned more, please and thank you in sign language. Charlie likes to show off these skills to everyone who visits our room. Jayden loved pretending to take our stuffed dog for a walk in the park with his new friend Sean. Sophia, Rocco and Ava showed us how they use a toothbrush when we learned about visiting the Dentist. Valentine's Day brought us lots of goodies, thank you to our wonderful parents! We loved learning about the Post Office and Paul especially liked playing with the money when we learned about the Bank. Congratulations to Brent, he is walking, we are so proud of him! We are looking forward to next month and learning about Wild Weather. We will learn about wind, the seasons, Rainy Days and Sunny Days. Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

They learned about Groundhogs, their teeth, Valentine's Day, the mail, money and the Presidents. We really enjoyed our Valentine's Day party, thank you to all of our parents for bringing in some yummy goodies. The Toddlers are learning something new everyday and talking to each other a lot. We have been really enjoying learning new words in Spanish with the use of our Spanish program. Our themes for this month are: "Weather Stories; Dr. Seuss Day", "Four Seasons", "Storm Watchers; Meteorologists", "Blowing in the Wind" and "Rainy Days, Sunny Days". Jolly Jellyfish

February has been an exciting month for the Jolly Jellyfish. We enjoyed learning about our four monthly themes: " A Trip to the Park", "A Trip to the Dentist", "A Trip to the Post Office" and "A Trip to the Bank". Our monthly unit was a Drive through Town which had us exploring roads, cars and various activities that may occur in a town. We learned all about the color; pink and located all of the heart shapes in our classroom. We had fun celebrating Valentine's Day and our party was a blast! We are looking forward to an eventful month of March and the themes that we will be learning are all about "Winter Stories; Dr. Seuss", "Four Seasons", "Storm Watchers; Meteorologists", "Blowing in the Wind" and "Rainy Days, Sunny Days". We are also excited about celebrating Jack's 2nd Birthday on March 6th and Miss Kristin's on March 18th!

Fantastic Fish

The Fantastic Fish had a very busy February. We took a "drive" through town and learned about groundhogs, healthy teeth, the postal service and banking. We loved having our parents come in to read us stories during the Book fair and our visit from Miss Vicky the Dental Hygienist was great! We loved the coloring books and toothbrushes she gave us! March will find us learning about the weather. We will celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with silly stories and wait to see if the first day of Spring brings us some much needed warmer weather. We want to wish a Happy Birthday to our friends Justin, Nicolo and Ryan.

Super Seals

February was a fabulous month for all. We had so many interesting themes and we were very busy. We learned so many things about keeping a healthy smile that even our visitor Miss Vicky from the Dentist Office was impressed!! For Valentine's week we had our very own post office with many workers and later in the month we played bankers and learned about money. Our counting skills are improving every day! We thank all of parents for the Valentine's goodies and for being special guest readers during our Book Fair. It's always fun when mom or dad come by to see us! During the month of March we will learn about the Four seasons as we examine and explore wild weather. We can't wait to see if March goes out like a lamb! We will also be celebrating Dr. Seuss and St. Patrick's Day. We want to wish our friends Christian and Frank a Happy Birthday this month, as well as a very Happy Birthday to our very own Miss Phyllis! Have a fun month!!

Lovely Lobsters

February was a very busy month. We had so many fun things to learn about. We explored our neighborhood on a "Drive Through Town" with stops at the park, post office, bank and the dentist. We also had Miss Vicki the Dental Hygienist visit, she talked about how to keep our teeth healthy. The children had a wonderful time during our Valentine celebration, and really enjoyed giving each other their special Valentine's. We all look forward to our next celebration. March is fast approaching and we will be busy again, this time learning about the four seasons and the weather we experience during each one. We will also have a St. Patrick's celebration with a gold treasure hunt. I would like to give a warm welcome to our new friend Madison, we are very happy to her in our class.

Marvelous Manatee

The Marvelous Manatees are ready for March! February left us with great knowledge about different places in our town like the bank, post office and dentist office. We really enjoyed being mail carriers and delivering tons of Valentine's Day cards! We took the opportunity to study our addresses and it was a fun way to learn! March is here and we're counting down the days until Spring...literally! We're looking forward to playing in the sunshine and being warm again. We will be cruising through lots of "wild weather" this month and we're already on the letter "W", WOW!! the children have been doing a fabulous job with their homework and love to feel so grown up! Our Pre-K friends have really been working hard with extra readiness activities and are showing off their smarts! Great Job!! We want to say Happy Birthday to Elizabeth and Welcome Spring!

Sparkling Seahorses

February was full of extraordinary fun and learning. We found out that the groundhog did not see his shadow which means Spring will be here soon. Thank Goodness! Especially after the frigid temperatures we have had throughout the month. The Seahorses learned so much about taking care of their teeth and eating healthy foods and our famous presidents. They had a fantastic time working in our classroom Post Office and of course delivering their Valentine's to their friends. Valentine's day was so much fun and full of love. We visited all the other classrooms and shared a special song with them. A BIG Thank you to all the parents who provided yummy treats for our class. We have learned the letters U, V, W & X and their sounds. We are almost finished with the alphabet and we will be focusing more on the vowel sounds and learning how to sound out letters to form words. The Seahorses are doing a fabulous job with their sign language and working on signing their first names. They have also learned the Spanish words for the four seasons and different kinds of weather which is great as we enter March and learn about all the wild weather patterns! March will also be a time for celebrating Dr. Seuss and St. Patrick's Day. We also want to wish Happy Birthday to Alexa who will be turning five. Remember, Spring is just around the corner. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and don't forget to wear your green!

Miss Elyssa and Miss Rebecca
