Have a great month!

Thank you for making February such a great fun-filled month. The book fair was a huge success and the children loved having special guest readers share new and favorite stories with them. The older children really enjoyed learning how a book is made from start to finish when local author/publisher George Smith came to share some of his stories with them. Thank you to everyone who attended our first "Breakfast with the Goddard Girls". The meeting was very successful, with a great exchange of ideas and information. We were very pleased with the responses generated by the follow-up letter sent home to everyone and we look forward to our next meeting in April. I want to take a moment and send a big THANK YOU out to our amazing and dedicated staff for our recent perfect Quality Assurance Review. I know they bring their "A GAME" everyday, and it's so wonderful to be recognized by Goddard Systems for the great job they do! There are lots of exciting things planned for March, a few reminders are posted below. Don't forget to check your calendar of events and visit our website for more updates! Have a GREAT MONTH!

We will say good-bye to Winter and hello to Spring on March 20th. We would like to welcome Alexandria and Olivia to our classroom. In March our themes are Dr. Seuss celebration, Four Seasons, Peter Rabbit Fun, Dinosaur Babies and Animal Babies. Our friends have been very busy this past month. Camryn has a blast bouncing around in the exersaucer. Ashley is moving around like a pro. Charlie will be walking before you know it. Spencer is still rolling but has the army crawl down. Brayden gives the best hugs. Mason is doing a great job walking around. Nathaniel loves tossing himself into the ball pit. Jasmine is starting to roll over. Will is having fun during tummy time. He and Jasmine like looking at each other. March can still be chilly out so please make sure you have weather appropriate clothing in your child's cubby. Also, label everything that you bring to school with your child's first and last name.

Thank You!
Miss Kym, Miss Cherrell, Miss Sharon and Miss Irma

Jolly Jellyfish

February was a great month, the Toddlers learned a lot about Groundhog Day, the mail, construction, the Dentist and the Museum. They had fun exploring with toothpaste, delivering the mail, playing in the dirt with the toy trucks and making mummy masks from the museum. The toddlers enjoyed Mr. Scott the music man. We also had a great time at our Valentine's party! Thank you to our parents for bringing in the goodies. We have been reading stories to each other and learning new signs for sign language. The toddlers love looking at books and helping the teachers with different jobs in the classroom. Our themes for March are "Dr. Seuss Celebration", "Four Seasons", "Peter Rabbit Fun", "Dinosaurs Babies" and "Animal Babies". The toddlers can't wait to learn about these. For the Health and Safety of our class please make sure everything is labeled with first and last name.

Thank You!

Lovely Lobsters

The theme for February was "Healthy Helpers". The Lovely Lobsters had the opportunity to learn all about keeping their body and teeth healthy. We had a special visitor, Miss Vicky come to demonstrate and explain the importance of taking care of our teeth through pictures and puppets. We had another visitor Mr. Scott, he had the children moving and exercising their body through music. They had a fabulous time with him! The Lovely Lobsters had a wonderful day celebrating Valentine's Day by wearing red, singing songs and giving out cards to their friends. We also enjoyed some yummy treats. Thank you everyone for the delicious snacks. We are now getting ready for the month of March. Our theme will be "Hop Into Spring". The children will have a fun time learning about Dr. Seuss, dinosaur babies, animal babies and the four seasons. We will celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Sparkling Seahorses

The month of February brought fabulous fun and tons of learning experiences to our classroom. We found out that the groundhog did see his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter. The seahorses had a great time pretending to be little groundhogs making their own shadows on our classroom walls using flashlights. The children are doing a wonderful job with their printing skills, we are now doing first and last names. Our Pre-K class really enjoys sign language, we are working on signing our first names also. Our Spanish skills are used throughout the day in our classroom and we have been enforcing the concepts of more and less and heavy and light in math. The children always enjoy our very exciting science experiments. Our Valentine party was awesome, the children had fun delivering their cards and candy and sharing their love with their classmates. A very special thank you to the parents who provided the special treats for our class, everything was delicious. Also a big thank you to all of our special guest readers that came to read to our class, everyone really enjoyed it! March is upon us and we are looking forward to "Hopping into Spring". We want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Frank and Isabella! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone, don't forget to wear your green!
