Darling DolphinsThe Dolphins would like to wish a Happy 1st birthday to Madison on the 2nd, Justin on the 17th and Marisa on the 30th. We would also like to wish all the moms a Happy Mothers Day. Natalia, Cassidy and Keara are our little helpers, they like cleaning with water and a paper towel. They are also very helpful bringing their friends toys. Sydney is almost walking, she also likes saying words like "flower" and "block". Madison says "I love you" to her mom and dad when they leave. Justin is speed racing around the room with the walker. Marisa is taking steps, Colin can clap his hands. Nicole is crawling around trying to get into the action. Candace found her hands and she is starting to talk to us with her sweet little voice. Harrison kicks his legs like he is riding a bike. Declan loves swatting at the big bird toy. Since spring is here and the children are getting bigger please make sure you have weather appropriate clothes for cubbies.

We would like to welcome two new friends, Michael and William are the two newest turtles. We are going to have so much fun in May exploring gardens, flowers, trees and wiggly worms. As the weather is getting warmer we would like to remind everyone to make sure your child has warmer clothes, sun block, and a hat to protect them from the sun. We hope everyone had a joyous Passover and Easter. Miss Melissa & Miss Courtney |

Sparkling SeahorsesWow! April flew by. Although it went fast, April was a month packed with wonderful wildlife information that we loved hearing about! Welcome spring, welcome May! The Seahorses are very happy to finally see the sun and feel it's warmth. We are looking forward to getting our hands dirty while learning about plants and gardens this month! We are happy to report that most of us have learned and are able to recite our addresses, phone numbers and birthdates! We are polishing up on our letter and number recognition- please keep practicing at home. Also, many children do not have weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubbies. Please bring them in as soon as possible! We hope you all enjoy the spring holidays.

Shining StarfishThe old saying "time fly" certainly seems true as we quickly are making our way to June- graduation and the finish line. Here it is May and we are turning our thoughts to summer and its activities, after our June graduation celebration. May's themes is Plentiful Plants with units about gardens for vegetables and for flowers, trees and worms and insects. For the color we'll think white and for the shape- what better to go with white than diamond! We'll also integrate the numbers 80-89 into our math lessons, and concentrate on the letters V, W, X, Y and Z and the vowel U. We hope all our mother's will join us for a class mothers appreciation tea party and we wish every mother a Happy Mother's Day! Miss Barbara |
