We are "Fall"ing into a great new school year!

Wow! October is here already and we have completed one whole month of the new school year! As the fall months approach us there is a reminder to parents that sunblock and summer clothes need to be replaced with long sleeve shirts and pants.

We have many things planned for the month of October. On October 7th, 8th and 10th, we will be holding our school picture event. Look for more details in your mailbox. October 16th will be the pumpkin picking trip for all children 4 years old and up. We will end our month with a Halloween Costume Parade on the 31st! All this excitement in one little month!

I wonder what November will bring!

Starfish

We wish to welcome the new students and parents to Kindergarten and express our hope that everyone enjoyed a fun and happy summer! The children vegan the year eager to begin the new year in "the big kid room". We feel that Kindergarten is the foundation of your child's school years ahead! Our class was eager to begin the enthusiastic school year with the workbooks, home work and the new learning mode! October proves to be no different than the previous weeks! We will be studying about Community Helpers. We'll learn about the color yellow, the triangle and numbers 11-20! Our letter will coincide with the unit.

As last year, we'll again have our annual Halloween costume parade and contest schoolwide and then end the festivities with a Halloween class party. Look for the post up sheet! Please remember that we practice good health so please, not too many sugar items for the party!

Thank you so much! Miss Barbara
