Sparkling Seahorses

Our Sparkling Seahorses are bursting with energy and striving for independence. Friendship, sharing and caring for each other have been their main goals . Their days are full of exciting activities such as "circle time", where they greet each other in their morning songs. Recognition of names , addresses, phone numbers, colors, shapes and numbers are developed through various games, manipulatives and the use of the flannel board. Each week they are introduced to a new letter and it's source sound. Our four-year olds especially enjoy meeting our letter puppet that helps act out our story of the week. Our hands-on learning centers help to develop Math, Language Arts and Creative abilities. We have explored many activities relating to our monthly theme "Getting to Know Me". We are looking forward to our new season of "Fall" and all the wonderful colors it will bring. Just a few reminders: please label everything with first and last name. Please make sure all required utensils, including napkins are packed in your child's lunch.

Thank you.
Miss Elyssa and Miss Sue
